Business Plan

Grace Church of the Carolina’s Business Plan

Update 06/04/2009

The goal of Grace Church is to Love the Lord our God and is reflected in our mission statement;
Glorify God
Obey The Word
Disciple in Christ.
We are also dedicated to open communication about the direction of the church and its family. As part of this transparency, we want to keep the congregation informed as to the direction we are heading in the next months and years. The following is a working business plan which will change and grow as we accomplish specific tasks and the church continues to grow. If you have any suggestions which would help Grace Church succeed in our mission, please let the elders know.
To start a church is a big undertaking that takes prayer, determination, commitment and financing. We believe that the scriptures direct us as Christ’s church to “live within our means”, which means that we intend to keep expenses and costs within a percentage of the weekly offerings and tithes. In looking to the future, it is important for the church to begin saving monies for future growth and costs. It is our commitment to keep expenditures at a maximum of 75% of our tithes and offerings with a goal of reducing this to 50% with the intent of saving funds for the purpose of acquiring land and buildings within the next 3 to 5 years.
Though Grace Church is only 14 weeks old we have accomplished much through the blessings of our Lord.
